Stax Johnson & Company's propulsive sound will jolt you out of your seat and serve you up with the feel-good, rhythm-drenched sounds of yesterday. Smashing out blistering guitar haymakers, grooving bass lines, and deep rooted back beats, the band creates their own brand of gritty, soulful, blues rock flavored with stellar vocal harmonies and lead vocals that echo past Mississippi Delta bluesmen. The band has performed with rock and blues legends such as Blue Oyster Cult, Slash & Adler of Guns N' Roses, Robbie Krieger of The Doors, Chris Isaak, Los Lobos, and Blues Traveler. Members include Stax Johnson(guitar, keyboard, vocals), Robbie Bohn(guitar and vocals), Brad Burchell(drums), and Dave Cave.(bass)
